Suggi Huggi, the Sankranthi event that is going to be held on Sunday, Jan 14th, 2018 from 10 AM to 7 PM at Lal Bagh, is yet another event that will be conducted in order to raise awareness of the upcoming Organics Millets International Trade Fair, Jan 19-21, 2018 (OMITF 2018) at the Palace Grounds, Bangalore.
Suggi meaning harvest festival and Huggi being the payasam that is served at festivals, this event will have day long cultural activities, traditonal foods and a Kite flying competition.
This promises to treat us to a celebration of the harvest festival of Sankranthi with all its delightful associated festivities. Entry to the event is free.
In this contest that is being conducted, Kaulige Foods is associating with the OMITF2018 and bringing you yet another fun and easy way to win lovely prizes.
About Kaulige Foods –
Kaulige Foods was founded in 2015 with the launch of Kaulige.com as a one stop portal for all things related to millets.
They launched the cookingwithmillets.com website that was dedicated to millet recipes and techniques cooking techniques.
Their facebook group Cooking With Millets was started in September 2015. It now boasts of over 7000 members with more than 500 recipes posted already.
While the website was an easy way for people to order their millets and get it delivered to their doorstep, they also opened their first physical store at St. Patrick’s Complex, Brigade Road.
Here they started serving their hugely popular Millet Lunches at an affordable price. They also have informative cooking workshops from time to time and have conducted more than 100 workshops in the last 2 years.
