You have probably heard of Rooms with a view but have you ever experienced a Room with a Wow?
Four giant swings dangle imposingly from the ceiling. A spectacular sight indeed, heralding my entry into a striking lounge which is open on all four sides and ensconced amidst equally enchanting environs of luxuriant greenery.
I am welcomed with a stark red concoction of kokum juice and as I sip the vibrantly hued liquid and gently sway on the swing, I feel my senses surrendering to the soothing aura of this picturesque space.
Furnished with an artistically harmonious blend of comfort and beauty with an eclectic plethora of seating elements with couches, pouffes, divans and their ilk, I could be forgiven for not wanting to move from here but move I must because as always I am on a mission to bring back memories for you and I have to get up to create them!
I am at Soul Nest, a luxury retreat located in the premises of Pyramid Valley International, a globally well known meditation center. This charming resort lies in the Kanakapura Taluk of Ramanagara District in the state of Karnataka, India.
So enter into this tranquil haven with me and heed their persuasive exhortation which urges you to ‘Relax, Recharge and Reconnect’!
About Pyramid Valley International –
As mentioned in my previous blog post, Pyramid Valley International is basically a meditation center which was established in 2003 by Brahmarshi Pitamaha Dr. Patriji.
Currently this Not-for-profit organization is managed by the Shreans Daga Foundation.
The campus is primarily used for conducting classes, seminars and sessions relevant to meditation and spirituality, apart from many other related activities. It is also a venue where corporates and other organizations can conduct similar sessions.

About the Daga family –
Shreans Daga is a Spiritual Teacher and Transformation Coach and was a follower of Patriji. He is also the Chairman of Pyramid Valley International, which his foundation now manages.
His cousin Kaushik Daga is the Managing Trustee of Pyramid Valley International.
About Soul Nest –
Soul Nest is the latest addition to the campus and though it was constructed in 2019, it actually saw footfalls only in early 2023 due to the covid era getting in the way. It is a luxury resort where guests of the Pyramid Valley International can opt to stay. It aims to cater to individuals, families and groups who can choose this space over the other budget accommodation which Pyramid Valley has been offering. Apart from this, the proceeds from this resort are also used to fund the charitable activities undertaken by the Pyramid Valley.
Pyramid Valley International is spread over 38 acres of undulating and scenic land. Soul Nest is tucked away in privacy behind all the other features of the campus, nestled within a charming landscape of lush greenery, rocks and tiny canals.

Features of Soul Nest –
Apart from the luxurious rooms, its exclusive features include a picturesque lobby and reception area, a koi pond, a stunning swimming pool, an outdoor adventure sports area, a children’s play area, a restaurant with indoor and al fresco seating, a yoga deck, a spa, a landscaped rock garden and a profusion of lush greenery.
A short video glimpse –
Reception and Lobby –
The reception and lobby are the first to catch the eye when one enters and they are certainly eye-catching indeed. The high reception counter lies along one wall and the rest of the space is filled with seating options of various forms, right from artistic high stools to couches, divans and sofas bearing a profusion of throw cushions, to the stars of the lobby which are the 4 gigantic swings which most guests just cannot resist!
A chess board, a koi canal along the edge and hundreds of ornamental plants complete this alluring picture.

Yoga deck –
The area above the roof of the lobby, serves as a space for yoga or any such activity.

Yoga Nidra room –
A space on the third floor to conduct yoga nidra sessions.

Spa –
The spa on the third floor offers various types of massages and other therapies.

Rock garden – a beautiful landscaped space which is visible from some of the rooms at Soul Nest. This is said to be the location where Patriji contemplated and visualized the creation of the pyramid.

The Soul Pool which is a stunning beauty in blue, is open to the guests of Soul Nest.

So aptly named Soul nest…where one can just park its tired soul to rest
in natures lap…
The resort is so beautifully set up without disturbing natural habitat
its like living life fairy tale like…so much natural beauty around
to keep your otherwise chaotic mind occupied listening to chirping of birds/
crickets and unadulterated fresh air to breathe..
Rooms are so aesthetically done up providing you with a wow view every time you
peek out of the window…So much ample space to just move around
or lie basking in sunlight. Add to that they do Yoga sessions and also
spa sessions to relax the mind and body…At night to one can just
enjoy the bonfire while nibbling away at the delicious food and during
daytime take a dip in the pool to cleanse self without worrying about
contaminating it with ones sins …:D
Looks like the place has something for everyone…if you’re into adventure
they have it sorted out…What else can one ask for…
And the icing on the resort is the delicious spread of food they serve
the pictures you’ve so patiently clicked are top notch. And they
tempt the reader to want to definitely visit the place…
Its one thing to click lovely pictures but another to breathe life into them
with such well thought out words. No wonder resort owners and food joints
want to write about them for you not only click some breathtakingly
beautiful pictures but follow it up with such lovely write ups…
Also your smiling presence clearly adds to the beauty of the place…
and nature too flaunts itself beautifully knowing fully well that
your pictures are going to do full justice to it…
Thank you for the wonderful review of this beautifully done up place
which is surely going to be on my want to visit sites.
Best wishes for more such travelogues to you. 🙂
Thank you for that eloquent comment. It is fantastic how you get a sense of the place and write a better description than me, without even seeing the place 😀 Awesome!
