Ponnanna Mayanamada takes you through the little known intricacies of baking Artisan Sourdough breads. Healthier than regular commercial breads, he teaches you to conquer the wild yeast beast and find out what makes it different from commercial yeast.








Start at the Starter … and allow the master baker to gently and unerringly guide you hands on through the process of creating your own gorgeous Sourdough Boule and crackers.







A self taught baker, who began this journey way back in 2010, Ponnanna is a perfectionist who has baked innumerable varieties of sourdough as well as breads made from commercial yeast.

His classes are very popular and his organized techniques make even the most complex procedures seem simple. He makes bread baking seem like a Piece of cake … er bread 😀

Seats are limited to ONLY 6 participants and registrations are on a first come basis and will be accepted on FULL payment of the fee.
Details of the class are as below.

What will be taught – One sourdough Boule (a rustic ball shaped bread) from start to finish, Sourdough crackers, theory of sourdough baking and explanation of how to make your own starter.

Who can join – Anyone with a basic knowledge of baking
What you need to bring – an apron/hand towel/pen/pencil and your enthusiasm
What you will take back – a Starter, your own Boule, tons of knowledge and a Life that will never be the same again (in the nicest possible way) 😀

Lunch – included (pl state veg/n veg preference)

Refund Policy – There will be no refund or any other adjustment possible after 48 hours before the class begins, though you could send someone else as a replacement.
This is because we would be denying any further registrations after we reach our max number.

However, in the event of the class being cancelled by us due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances, the entire refund will be made.
