The Academy of Pastry Arts (APA) is a renowned International pastry school, with Professional Pastry Chefs offering world class pastry classes and it is ranked among the top schools globally.
It has its flagship pastry school in Malaysia and is also present in the Philippines and Gurugram (which is Gurgaon but I am just being Gram’matically correct 
)
They have recently started an academy here in Bangalore and having an Institute of this proportion in the city, eliminates the necessity of leaving the shores of the country to learn the Art of pastry. With visiting faculty from the world over and state of the art facilities, this 17000 sq ft center is capable of delivering the best.
They conduct 3,6 and 9 month full time classes and they also have a 24 week intensive course.
In addition, they make good use of weekends by offering 12 weekend classes with different courseware per weekend and one can pick and choose any or all the sessions.
I was present at their official launch last month and was happy to receive a voucher to attend one of these weekend classes and my choice was the group that included Brioche, Croissants, Danish pastry, Donuts, Scones and Puff pastry.
Chef Minila was our instructor and this skilled lady has been with them for 2 years. She took us through the procedures in a structured manner and guided us where ever needed.
Working at our individual stations with individual Kitchen Aid stand mixers 
made the learning process highly pleasurable.
The sessions began punctually and ended well within time and the products turned out excellent, as you can see in the pictures.
