Well, all those who know me, know of my fondness for the Taj group of hotels, where I have had the pleasure and honor of experiencing the ‘Tajness’ on many an occasion.
Moving with the Corona times and considering the hurdles that their loyal clientele is facing regarding dining out in the carefree manner of the ‘good ol days’, they now strive to give you that experience in the comfort of your own home.
Qmin is their latest venture which provides an end to end solution to bring to you the Taj@home experience with the assurance of their high Taj standards.
Qmin –
Qmin encompasses what they call the 3 Q’s namely Qurated Quality Quisine (after taking the liberty to tweak a spelling here and there :-D)
A few of their noteworthy features are –
They strictly adhere to FSSAI and WHO guidelines.
The packaging is in the form of very aesthetically pleasing and environment-friendly packaging that is also sanitized as per hygiene requirements. The corrugated cardboard boxes and containers are reassuringly stable, secure, bio degradable and also appealing.
There is of course the facility of online payment.
The need of the hour being minimal human contact, they have the facility of contactless delivery where the delivery is performed safely at the doorstep by staff who undergo frequent temperature checks and other health protocols. Equipped with personal protective equipment, they also follow a rigid regimen of regular hand washing and sanitization process.
Locations and restaurants –
Qmin has a presence in the Taj hotels of the major cities of Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata and our very own Bengaluru and they have plans to expand further.
The Qmin at Bengaluru presently offers you menus from the Taj West End, Taj MG Road, Taj Yeshwantpur, Taj Bangalore, Vivanta Bengaluru Residency Road and Vivant Bengaluru Whitefield.
The well curated (or shall I say Qurated 😎) menus span a range of cuisines like pan Indian, Asian, Continental etc thus enabling diners to enjoy their food of choice.
My menu –
My good friend and favorite chef Ramasamy Selvaraju sent me a range of dishes from the Paranda and Palette restaurants of the Taj Yeshwantpur and the visuals and video below should be able to entice you more than my words. So let me stop talking now and allow you to enjoy the view 😀 But yes, before I leave, I must highly highly recommend the prawns 😍😋 and not just because they are my favorite food but because these were luscious and gigantic and seriously I must confess, I left the rest of the food to my vegetarian family as I ascended into prawn heaven for the duration of my meal 😀
Do try out the Qmin menu. It has the freshness and flavor and quality assurance of the Wah’n and only Taj!!!
